I was wondering about getting an 8 fader extender for my MCU, and thought that it might be cool if I could have Cubase Mixer #1 on the Main MCU 8 faders, and then have Cubase Mixer #2 - running only FX Returns - on the 8 fader extender unit.
Is that even possible? I’m guessing ‘no’, but thought I’d ask anyway.
Not an expert but the mixers are actually all the same mixer, just with 4 different view settings. Thus it might not be possible. Hopefully some wizards of remote control can chime in.
Ya, that’s pretty much what I was thinking how it worked. Be pretty great to put the FX returns on their own fader set though, huh…

All the Remote Devices are linked to the MixConsole 1. So if you change the view at this MixConsole, MCU will follow.

That is not correct. Avid EUCON is the solution since it have it’s own view. I think it is very embarrassing for Steinberg that their biggest competitor do a better job with remote controllers in Steinbergs products than what Steinberg manage to do.
Unfortunately they also know how to charge, but second hand it gets more reasonable.
