Hi, before buying a fader, given that MODX has a set of faders and even the knob, I was wondering if there’s a way to use those controls for the mastering/mixing process, at least for volume control.
I record MIDI, export to audio and then I want to mix the WAV files.
If not possible, what affordable fader would you recommend easy-to-go with Cubase?
I saw that some have some trouble.

Yes, there’s a DAW control mode within the MODX that uses the MCU protocol, but as it’s only got 4 faders you have to bank between faders 1-4 and 5-8, which is a little annoying.
If you’re looking at a different solution then consider something with motorised faders as it’s far better to use, as they respond to the bank you’re focused on, so always representative. But more expensive of course.
There’s so many options out there for non motorised though.
