I have tried using Pro Tools Audio Bridge as a device in the Audio devices in Wavelab 12 Pro, but somehow it doesn’t work (). I tried to aggregate two PTAB (like 2A and 2B) to no avail.
I am not talking of ARA here, what I am trying to do is stream audio to an Wavelab Montage and back into a Pro Tools Session

I think it only works one way from PT to WL or WL to PT!
bridge from one app to the other not both ways…
but I have no personal experience. Anybody else?

I can’t speak to using PT Audio Bridge specifically in Wavelab, but I’ve used it for simultaneous input and output with other programs (mainly Zoom). That said, I’ve found Audio Bridge to be pretty unstable - I (and others) gave up on it after too many mid-session disconnects / glitches, and moved over to Source Connect’s Source/Nexus. Something like Audiomovers’ Omnibus or Source/Nexus will probably be a better choice.

I agree it is rather unstable, but still useful for certain tasks…
