Hello. So, recently I learned that in windows audio devices have a checkbox for “allow programs to take exclusive control of this audio device.” I was always bugged by cubase taking over my computer audio, so I went and unchecked these for my audio devices.
However, this makes it so these devices no longer work in Cubase. I can see them in the control panel, but then the device ports all say “Not Connected” when I try to get things set up. Additionally, under VST Audio System the Input latency, Output latency, and ASIO-Guard latency all say 0.000ms, which I’m pretty sure they did not before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
