I am getting such a headache trying to find out what it is going on. Non of the other forum topics have been any help either.
For background I have been using Noteperformer for a long time so I never really switched back to Halion. For the project I am working on I would like to use Halion so it works well with DAW elements of dorico, I am not writting an orchestral piece.
I get an error saying I don’t have license. Activation manager only shows Dorico 5, I have no clue what to do. I have unistalled and reinstalled all steinberg software and the issue stays. I don’t understand. I am installing from the download assistant and from the Dorico 5 tab. Please help
Hi @Hrxcky , for what exact license does Dorico ask for? HALion or HALion Sonic? Because the Dorico license contains only a license for HALion Sonic, but not for the full version of HALion.
Please also check in the Dorico preferences the settings shown below:
Thank you Ulf, I actually fixed my it own my own, but I think the problem was that I was using a version I didn’t own.
Now midi input isn’t working on my projects using Halion, the green dot is not appear in the corner and nothing is happening. Noteperformer projects work just fine though. Would you happen to know why that is?
