Can`t activate the Dolby Atmos Renderer

Hi,
I’m currently trying to test Dolby Atmos with my new Cubase14pro. In all YouTube videos you can see the “bed window” after the setup assistant has run through. Unfortunately not for me.

In my channel settings for the 7.1.4 renderer I can see the plugin, but I can’t turn it on. Why?
Thank you for helping me !

For the problem above, I used an existing project with stereo output as source material. I first had to adapt the project to 48 kHz. During the conversion process, I had to answer 2 questions that I didn’t really understand ( just for information). Now I’ve started the whole thing from an empty project, where I’ve included an mp3 as “material”. There’s is no problem … hmmm. It must have something to do with the source project. I’m continuing to research…

Was your samples buffer set to 512 in your first project? That is one of the two requirements to make the Atmos setup work. The other is HW sample rate of 48 kHz

Thank you mavros for the tip. I used the “wizzard” and there you must make the settings you mentioned.
I have since found out that the on/off button in the window shown above doesn’t work at all. If I go directly to the renderer window via the e field, I can switch the insert on and off there. Then the color in the window above also changes. Interestingly, you can turn the insert back to “on” once you have turned it “off” via the renderer window. But then you can’t turn it off there anymore
I would say that’s a small bug…

Just make sure that the sample rate is 512. I have seen the assistant showing a green light i.e. you would think that all was correct; 512 samples, 48 kHz but in fact it was not and therefore the activation of the renderer did not work.
