macos 10.6
first install of ga3 - moving to a new mac
got the 3.0214 full install
put the ga3 dvd
Result:
The Installation failed
can;t install some files in"/"
Anybody?

I have this exact same problem. The solution described here worked for me (remove the Propellerhead Software folder in Application Support):
