Is it possible to have velocity control the voicings in chord pad ?
E.g. - when I hit harder the voicing goes up…
Might be possible to convert velocity value ranges to specific notes or just an aftertouch value (with an Input Transformer) that you can configure to add tensions, transpose etc. in Chord Pad setup. Not certain, haven’t tried.
That’s what I’m thinking, but I can’t figure out how to program the input transformer to do it…
My first problem is, that there is no Velocity in Parameter 1:
Any gurus out there ?
I don’t think that is possible. If I understand Cubase correctly the Chord Pad sits, as far as the signal flow of MIDI is concerned, between the All MIDI Inputs in Cubase and any track. It can receive MIDI from your keyboard but any Transformer on a track comes AFTER the Chord Pad and would therefore have no effect on the pads.
I guess you would need an external MIDI application that transforms velocity into some other midi message and a virtual midi cable (there is freeware out there for this).
