Cancel "Select a Layout"

I sometimes hit a key or key combination by mistake that puts me into Select a Layout mode. It is not obvious to me how to cancel this.

How do I get out of Select a Layout?

Iā€™m not sure what this is. Can you take a screenshot the next time this happens and post it here?

Maybe you were in the Full Score layout and pressed W , which would then go to the part layout of whichever player had a note selected in the score. If that is what happened, then pressing W should return to the Full Score layout.

Another possibility is that you pressed Ctrl/Cmd+T. This will take you to Select a recent layout. To exit that, try pressing Ctrl/Cmd+W.
