Hi Cubase 14
Try to connect Akai MPK mini Mk3 and Korg NAnoncontrol Studio 1 to Cubase an get no reaction.
HAlion SE is installed on a track and the Halion KB responds and give sound, however HAlion does not respond on the remote devices.
I followed
“To connect an Akai MPK mini to Cubase 14, ensure you have the latest drivers installed and the MPK mini is recognized as a MIDI controller in Cubase’s Studio Setup. Verify the MIDI port is active and visible in the MIDI Port Setup window.”
However no success
Thnks for the help
Daniel
If the driver didn’t install or doesn’t show in Cubase then explain at what point exactly the process fails.
If it did install and Cubase is seeing it in the MIDI port setup window then show us with a screencap the inspector of the instrument track showing the midi input settings there.
Hi,
can you provide some system and computer specs?
Actually, the Akai Mini Mk3 doesn’t require anything apart from a working USB port on both Win 10 and 11. Have you checked other USB ports?
You’re not showing the inspector section where you choose the midi input (Routing). Have you done that??
There is a setting elsewhere to choose what is in ALL MIDI so I still don’t know if you have MPK set for input. If it’s in the drop down select it directly.
Then confirm when you hit a key do you see any meter movement on the track?
