Cannot Copy Files To Working Directory

Hi guys,
I got cubase a couple days now and im running it on my pc with windows 7 64bit.
Everytime i want to import audio file(s) it gives te error cannot copy files to working diretory i dont know what the problem is can someone help me please?

Might you be experimenting with demonstration projects? Whose Working Directory would be on a DVD, hence not writable?

i cant remember if so… how do i fix it?

Load the demo song as normal, then use the backup project function and save to a folder on your hard drive, then close the song, and open the one you just created on your hard drive.
