Cannot delete Pedal Controller

Hi,

I am following this to delete the pedal symbols in my piano staff. However, after I use the Earsor tool and select CC64 events using neither of the two options work:

  • Click each automation event you want to delete.
  • Make a marquee selection around the automation events you want to delete.

what am I doing wrong, please?

Of course, I can delete it in the write mode.

Is the issue you’re having that you want to have a pedal line appear in the score but not produce any CC64 messages in playback? If so, then the right approach is to select the pedal line and activate the ‘Suppress playback’ property in the Properties panel instead.
