Cannot export AAF -> ERR 8007007E

Hello all,

today we made a fresh install of everything: harddisk wiped, new partition an then installed
Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit ( Version 1803, Build 17134.345)
Nuendo 8.3
EuControl 3.7
I checked:

  1. Program Files/Steinberg/Nuendo{x}/Components/AAF-Filter: aaffilter.dll plus the helper AAFCOAPI.dll and in the subfolder aafext the files AAFINTP.dll and AAFPGAPI.dll are there
  2. /windows/SysWOW64: MSVCR100 and MSVCP100 dlls are existing. I did install the Visual C++ redistributable again to be sure.

When we try to export any AAF it canceles with ‘Error writing AAF file… [Err 8007007E]’
The file destination is writable of course an accepts any other file.

Do you have any idea why it doesn’t work?

Oh and I forgot: Importing AAF is canceling with the same error code.

I don’t know if that’s the case, but try renaming your Hard Drives and try again. I had this kind of problems exporting videos and solved it renaming.

Did a quick test here with no problem. Our setups are very similar.

That sounds far to easy, but I will give it a try on monday :slight_smile:

We have a second system quite the same but a diff. (older) mainboard & processor. No problem there either…
