Cannot install library manager

Hi there …Win 11 Cubase 14.
My problem is this: I have bought C14 Elements. I have installed the Download assistant. When I open the DA it gives the error "Failed to update the following components: Steinberg Library Manager… go get the manual install files… which I have done. So I downloaded Steinberg_Library_Manager_win64.zip, extracted it and ran the setup.exe. The window opens and says “Please wait while…” but I cant read the rest because the install window just disappears.
So I run DA again and exactly the same thing happens. I can use DA … I have downloaded C14… but I can’t install it because I have no Library Manager. No matter what I do I get no joy. Can anyone HELP me?

I have seen this in another post…

Q: Can you run your SLM version? It’s in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Steinberg Library Manager together with the uninstaller. Or also in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Steinberg Library Manager… its not present in either of these locations

Q: What exactly happens if you run the Setup installer from the unzipped file Steinberg_Library_Manager_win64.zip, dowloaded from the link I posted? …Steinberg installation opens & says"This program will install on your computer>>>next>>Customize To install the recommended packages click next etc but there are no packages listed so I click next and the final screen says "There are no operations to perform. click finish…blah blah
I am at my wits end. PS all of my installs are run as administrator.

Cheers MM

Fixed this.
Install Revo-Pro.
Select “Install Program with Revo Uninstaller Pro” in sidebar.
Navigate to where the install exe and .msi files are.
Ignore the setup exe. and select the xxx.msi
Install should happen smoothly.
Ive had problems with all of the .exe files…don’t know why.
I’ve now installed everything and activated and all is good.
I hope this is of some use to someone else.
