I have been using Cubase Elements 9.5 for the past five months or so, but now, suddenly it won’t open. It keeps saying “Preparing to Install” but it never opens - the screen just freezes. I tried re-installing Cubase, re-installing the drive from my audio converter (Yamaha/Steinberg UR-12), and doing a system restore following some major Windows updates, but nothing works. Please help! Here is a screenshot of what happens when I try to open up Cubase (and it keeps saying it’s installing, but after a day of doing that, the screen just freezes):
It worked! I’m sorry I didn’t see the posting about Windows 10 updates before I took up everyone’s time. Thanks Grim!
