File 1132 is opening Project.
File 7564 is adding Instrument (SPIRE) to project.

Hi,

All the crashes are the same.

It’s on the plug-in side. Please, get in touch with the plug-in vendor.

Just to confirm this is in noway connected to the problem?

Hi,

The new version of Cubase can handle the plug-ins a bit differently. But if the plug-in works correctly, it should not freeze.

Therefore I would recommend to get in touch with the plug-in vendor.

Hi Martin,

Just an update on 3rd party plugin (SPIRE) crashing cubase.
It was Windows Defender SmartScreen.
Windows is a Pain In The Butt!! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
