Cannot open project, keeps crashing, Cubase 13

As title says, I cannot open project, so I suppose it has to do with some certain plugin in that folder. Here I have crash logs, can anyone help me read them to figure out the culprit? @Martin.Jirsak

Hi,

All the crashes are in the:
SSLNativeChannelStrip2

Please, make sure, the plug-in is up to date. If this is the case, get in touch with the SSL support, please.

It is up to date. I’ve had crashes related to SSL Native Channel Strip for months now. Amazing how they still didn’t update the plugin. Same with Antares and their buggy software. Thanks for the answer

Take out that plugin from the plugin folder and surely you´ll be able to load the project.

I am having the same problem as the title suggests, which started this morning.
Just updated yesterday on the advice of Minas (the script Guy ) to 13.0.41, was having a issue with my Controller in Midi Remote but sorted now.

Heres is some DMP files for you to look at  Sorry the isn’t, it wont let me UpLoad
Will try the DMP upload again shortly.

Hi,

Upload the file(s) to Dropbox or a similar service and share the link, please.

Cheers

Hi,

I’m sorry, all files were deleted.

Hi Martin,
What do you mean deleted, did you delete them accidentally or where they not there to view?

Cheers
John

Hi,

Now, I was able to download the files.

Can you always reproduce it, with any project? Or does this happen only with a single project? Can you always reproduce it with the given single project?

Hi
I have narrowed it down (i think) to Spire VST. If i start a new project then add any other VST Ins it continues working but as soon as insert a Spire VST it closes, with no error message. I don’t know whether i mention this in prev ppost but i DL the 13.0.41. the night before and went to bed, the next day it was doing this.
What do you think?
Cheers
John

Hi,

This is totally different description from the original one.

Do you get the crash while opening a project, or while adding a plug-in, please?

Hi Martin
Yes it crashes on existing (which have Spire in), but not on ones that don’t have spire. It crashes on a project that i add the 1st Spire to.

No it is not different.
I came in on this topic because i was having the same problem with project not opening and crashing!
I have since realised that it may be a plugin (Spire)
I just need some guidance Martin.
Regards
John

Hi,

Sorry, first I need to understand the issue. At this moment, I understand, there are 2 issues:

  • Cubase crashes while opening a project with Spitfire plug-in (that was the original report). Correct?
  • Cubase crashes when adding an Instrument Track > Spitfire. Correct?

So in general, it looks like Cubase always crashes, once instantiates Spitfire. Can we make this kind of conclusion?

Lol,
Not spitfire
SPIRE by Reveal Sound.
But yes you got it.

Hi,

Oh, sorry…

Great! Could you please attach one DMP file while adding the instrument and another one, while opening project (and mark, which DMP is linked to which situation£. I wonder, if they are the same.

The first two DMP files are very generic.
