Cannot rename file directly in the Audio File tab in Audio Editor

I used to be able to “F2” on the filename tab of an open audio file in the audio editor to directly rename it in the tab. Recently F2 now opens a “Rename File” dialog box. How can I revert to the old state?
There has been no change in Wavelab or OS version.
MacOS 12.7.4, Wavelab 10.0.20

It seems you use F3 instead of F2.

Perhaps change System settings in macOS “keyboard” ?

Could you clarify? How do I ask the OS to do something specific in Wavelab?

F3 opens the File tab

In System Settings macOS it’s possible to change “Funktion Key” fn
behaviour maybe that’s the case…

Try press down “fn” and then F2 and see if it works…

Cheers - fn-F2 works as expected, ie as F2, which opens a rename dialog box - it doesn’t make the tab name editable.

It works here, perhaps some settings in WaveLab or macOS overrules!?
