Cannot try SpectraLayers Pro Demo with C11. Keeps running SL 'One'

I posted this in the SpectraLayers area but no reply.

I have C11… with SpectaLayers ‘One’.

I downloaded SpectraLayers ‘Pro’ to give it a try. When I started it, it came up, then I got a dialog box saying, Your demo will expire in 13 seconds. Then it exited. Now it’s back to running SL ‘One’.

And… when I start Cubase 11, I get an error ‘Demo Expired’… but then it start anyway.
SO…

  1. Is there any way to try the SL7 ‘Pro’ Demo?
  2. How do I make that Cubase 11 license error go away?

You can download SpectraLayers Pro Trial here.

I wouldn’t expect, there is Cubase 11 license error. I would say, there is SpectraLayers license information. Either get SpectraLayers Pro Trial, or buy SpectraLayers Pro or uninstall SpectraLayers Pro, please.

Did you activate the trial license in the elicenser?

I dunno what happened, but uninstalling SL6 -and- SL7 ‘One’ -and- Cubase and then re-installing -everything- seemed to work.

First time I’ve had installer issues with any eLicenser product in at least 10 years. But seriously annoying.
