i’m really not sure how to solve this issue and it’s really a maze if you try to contact any support point and you manage you wont get a respond, so what shall i do or if there is any one that works for the company can help me out here !!!
not a Steinberg employee here. To me it looks like your Cubase AI 10 is activated as of today. So what gives you the impression that it is not activated?
Yes you right, but that was after i reactivate it, it also shows the same thing on the license app all activated, however when i run Cubase ( the same version and edition i get this message and no matter what i do even if i insert the activation code it will tell me this activation code has been activated before, so i’m not sure what\s wrong :
Yes i used it on my mac before but i reactivate it and now it’s likened and active only on my Windows PC as you can see from the screenshot it should’ve work !:
The screenshot shows available licenses, not that they are active on that machine. If you highlight the soft elicenser do you see the Cubase activation?
As far as I know the licenses here are the licenses connected to your account. It does not show the license situation for the computer.
In short - your mySteinberg account holds the licenses. Then the computer must be authorized to run the software. I think only one computer can be authorized at a time with Soft-eLicenser. So you’d have to remove the authorization from your Mac and transfer onto the PC.
I am not an expert for Soft-eLicenser, so I might be wrong.
I just found this article. It holds step by step instructions and I think it applies to your situation. It seems you need to “reactivate” your product, thereby getting a new activation code, that you can then enter into the eLicenser app.
i think i did reactivate in the same way but i will go again and follow it step by step and see if that works, i will follow up with an update if that actually the solution thank you for your help highly appreciated
