Hi I wish to beam a group as a 3/8 in measures of 4/4. Dorico 6 refuses and beam only per beat. I went into preferences but couldn’t find the right one.. Thanks for the help

Hi @Daniel_Schell, select those four notes, then right click>Beaming>Beam Together.
If you need for example 3+3+2 eight values beams for many bars, you are better served with a time signature that defines the beaming groups, like 3+3+2/8. You can then hide this time signature. And use the 4/4 only for the first bar, which has the forced beamings as I suggested at the beginning of this post:

Solved Thank you. I used select the notes then Right click BEAM TOGETHER. But for some reasons I missed it, It didn’t work. Now it works.
