I can create one VCA fader using ‘Add VCA to selected channels’, but if one of those channels is again selected and I attempt to create a second VCA fader, Cubase just ignores my request.
Because that can’t be done !

Channels can only be routed to a single VCA, but VCAs can be nested in other VCAs.
