Hi everybody,
I’m new to Cubase and checking out the free trial… I’m running into an issue where I can’t enable/disable insert effects I have in the Stereo Out with Option+Click. When I do it nothing happens except that I see a red outline around them. Also dragging to reorder doesn’t work with those specific effects.
If I create a new project and try there it works as expected.
Any ideas?

Any idea how to recover from this?
That doesn’t seem normal, right? That the insert deactivates when you select a track? I’m now worried the project is corrupted or something.

I have a Komplete Kontrol S61 mk2 but both issues happen also when it’s not connected. Any specific places I should be looking at?

I think I know… Please disable the Constrain Delay Compensation in the left-bottom corner of the Project window.
Once you select the track, it becomes Record enabled, so all non-realtime plug-ins become bypassed to avoid the latency.
