Can't enter notes into a drum track using my MIDI keyboard

Hello, Dorico users,

I am able to enter notes using my MIDI keyboard in a staff for Alpine Horn. However, in my staff for Drum Set, I can’t, nothing happens.

Can you all give me any clues about how to enter drums with a MIDI keyboard? I use an AKAI MiniPlay. I attach my document:

Check Dorico→Preferences→Note Input and Editing→Percussion Input.

I would really encourage you to go and watch Tim Buell’s excellent series in the Dorico channel in YouTube. He goes through everything a drum notator should know in Dorico.

I have bookmarked this series. Since I am a beginner at notating drums, I’m going to start at the beginning of these tutorials and work through them.
