Can't full screen the project window [mac]

Hi,

I recently migrated from Windows to Mac El Capitan, 10.11.4.

Now when I try to maximize the project window to full screen, instead of the full screen green button there is a plus sign green button which maximizes the project window to the dock only.

Is there a way to go truly full screen including hiding the dock?

That’s quite a coincidence to my situation. I just switched over last week and am trying to adjust to the new OS.
I had the same issue with the video window in Nuendo 7 not going truly full screen because of the menu bar.

In case you are still wondering:
In System Preferences > General, check the box that says “Automatically hide and show menu bar”.

No way with Cubase, you need to hide the dock.
