I suddenly can’t get any WaveLab audio through headphones or speakers on my PC. I can hear other audio. The files (I’m a VO artist - so not tech inclined!) are recorded. Just no volume. I have a Grace pre, into a Tascam, into a PC. Been doing this for years and no idea what happened. Two different engineer friends have walked me through all they could think of. Thoughts? Thanks!

Absolutely there is meter activity. We’ve double checked, restarted and restarted, to no avail. The same hardware with another application? You mean clicking on a news story and getting sound from computer speakers? Yes, I do get.
No, because the operating system does not use the ASIO drivers.
I mean, using another audio software where you can select the same ASIO driver and connections.
Now, if you don’t mind about ASIO, you could use this new driver wrapper:

We did try the ASIO and nothing changed.
Really? If you tweak it (Control Panel), you could probably play the audio as Windows does.
