cant get locater bar to zero

Hi, just installed cubase5 on my new imac. When i opened up my first project to start working, the locater bar wont go to zero. it wont snap to left or righ locaters either. It moves in the direction i want, but its missing every target every time.

I opened a second blank project and the locaters are fine. Whats wrong with the fist project i opened.

Happens once in a while here. I repeatedly hit the Pad . button until it goes back to the beginning.
