Hi there! I had a previous subscription and just tried to come back, but when I try to go to the Engrave tab I am hit with the subscription pop-up. I have re-upped my subscription but nothing happens when I click restore purchase… The last post I am seeing with the same issue is from 2022. Any help would be appreciated! I am running the latest iPad OS 26 Beta and have the most recent Dorico app version. Thanks in advance!
Have your Apple ID or email address changed since you subscribed to Dorico? Might your Dorico subscription have been cancelled when you were no longer using it regularly or have you been continuing to pay for the subscription all along?
My apple ID/email has not changed, but my subscription did lapse a few months ago and then I just re-upped it yesterday when prompted when redownloading the Dorico app. When I get the pop-up after choosing Engrave nothing happens when I click Restore Purchase, but when I click the 4.99/month option again instead apple will tell me I am already subscribed. I feel like it’s stuck in a loop like something between Dorico and the App store is not syncing??
I had the same issue. I had to go through the motions as if I’m subscribing and tapped ok. Only then did it see the subscription and the subscribe buttons disappeared. It took a bunch of tries to get it to work. The Restore Purchase did absolutely nothing. I had this happen on two iPads.
Appreciate your efforts! Ive been trying this for a good 10 minutes with no avail but I will keep trying. I think I got the engrave screen once in this loop, but now its back to thinking I don’t have subscription after I went back to the write tab.
Does restarting your iPad and trying again help?
I wish it were that simple, but alas no. I’ve tried restarting the iPad and reinstalling the app, but it still does not recognize my active monthly subscription and does not let me get to Engrave.

FINAL UPDATE: malycknm’s solution eventually worked.
It must be be trying to test me because just after uploading the video and diagnostic report I went through the same loop a few more times the Subscribe button FINALLY vanished from the home page and I can enter Engrave mode. This should not have taken two days of trying, but I am in the clear. Hopefully this issue and/or the Restore Purchase button can be fixed in a future release to help others out as well. Thank you everyone for your help.
I had the same problem.
Just pretented to buy Dorico again. At the and of that proces you get the message that you already bought it and if you want it again for free. After OK the subscribe notification dissappears
