Can't get VST instr. plugin working in Cubase Le5

Hi,

I just got a new computer and I am in the process of migrating Cubase Le5 and a VST instrument package called “Analog Laboratory” by Arturia to my new machine. I have successfully gotten Cubase Le 5 installed on my new machine. I am having trouble getting Analog Laboratory to work as a plug-in in Cubase. The stand-alone version of Analog Laboratory works fine.

The new machine is Windows 7 64 bit, AMD FX8320 8-core, 8 GB ram

I put the file Analog Laboratory.dll in the same folder that already has HALionOne.dll, which is C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Steinberg\VST2. I have verified that this is how it was installed in my old machine.

Now when I open Cubase Le 5 it says the plug-in is missing. When I go to Devices > Plug-in Information, it shows 2 instances of Analog Laboratory. The path is also wrong - it has C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Cubase LE 5. Under Category it says MissingInstrument. See Pic.

Also, some threads I’ve seen on similar topics suggest going into Devices and making selections I don’t seem to have. I attached a photo of my Devices menu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Put a copy of the .dll file in the folder where it says the “instrument is missing”. Then rescan your VSTs, does it show up now?
