can't hear anything when previewing processing or plug-ins

I can’t get any sound through the headphones when I want to preview anything from the ‘process’ or ‘plug-ins’ menus.

I’m sure it’s something very simple so if some kind-hearted person could point me in the right direction I’d be much appreciative.

All the meters are buzzing along fine when I preview - just no sound.

Some more info would be nice.

Which vers? 64 or 32 bit?

Which OS? 64 or 32 bit?

Which plugs? 64 or 32 bit?

If I remember correctly, preview does not work when the OS is 64 bit, Cubase is 64 bit an the plugin is 32 bit.

Click Studio Tab
Disable Control Room (turn off blue button)
Go to Output tab and make sure the Output is still set for your main Audio Outs

Much appreciated JM - got sound now.

Jeff - I’ve got 64 bit Cubase 7.07 on a 64 bit OS…just out of interest how would I discover how many bits a particular plug-in is?
