Can't hear MIDI notes when editing in lower window: Cubase 15 Pro

Hi. Got a strange one here!

I’ve carried across a Groove Agent fill pattern into my project and it all works fine, except I can’t hear any of the individual sounds when trying to move them for editing purposes in the lower (editing) window. They are perfectly audible when playing the whole project, and I can also hear all the drum sounds together when I solo them in the lower window and play. As well as that, all the note sound if selected with the mouse on the left-hand keyboard of the lower window. It is only within the editing window itself on the grid where the individual midi notes themselves won’t sound if I click on them or move them.

Any thoughts would be very gratefully received.
