I own the Pro version of Cubase but wanted to download elements to configure a template for a friend just learning Cubase. I downloaded it, went to Activation manager, and though it shows the program, there is no option to install it after clicking its icon. It only shows my full version of Cubase. I’m on Mac, and using the latest Activation manager. Any help appreciated.
Activation manager is not a part of install process.
Download assistant should do the install?
EDIT: AH there’s a change with 14 instead of Artist Pro being one install and Elements, LE and AI being another…all versions are operable from your pro install. So just hold down alt when starting Cubase and you get the dialogue to choose version.
Oh awesome will try this and report back. Yes I meant to say Download Assistant, which is what the instructions said to use from Steinberg’s email…thanks much!
So intuitive!
Although I just tried it and it is so.
How does one discover these “features”?
OK so that works…but when I quit Elements and launched Cubase Pro again, I noticed hitting the “C” key no longer activated the metronome. Had to add it to shortcuts again. Also doing a mix down no longer had my shortcut, had to re add. And the click SOUND had changed to no sound, had to re choose it. No fun.
