I used the download assistant to download Dorico Pro 6. Everything was downloaded except the actual program executable file itself!
Under Program files I have these folders: Activation Manager, Asio, Groove Agent SE HALion Sonic, Install Assistant, and Steinberg Library Manager. There is no executable file present in the Steinberg SubFolder of program files to open Dorico 6.
Suggestions?
Welcome to the forum, @rbunker!
If you open the Download Assistant, what does it say next to “Dorico 6.2.30 Application Installer”? Is there an Install or Install Again button? What happens when you click that?
There is no Dorico 6.2.30 application installer listed. The only things listed as installed are virtual instruments and libraries. And also the Dorico 6.2.30 Version History file. I can find no exe file to open Dorico Pro 6 directly. I did check activation, and Dorico Pro 6 has been activated in my account. I think I may have solved the issue. I was downloading the ARM 64 version, and now I switched to download the regular windows 64 bit version, and I do see the application manager now downloading
I now have the program installer downloaded. When I click to install it it just shows me the zipped installer file sitting in my downloads folder. How do I get it to install?
I figured out how to manually install it. Program is now up and running.
