Can't open manual

Yesterday (my first day with Dorico) I was able to open the manual but today Safari tells me it can’t establish a secure connection with Steinberg. Is anyone else having this issue?

I believe there is an issue with accessing PDFs on Safari, but the webhelp loads fine.

The webhelp version also has quite a powerful search function, with search results appearing on the left without disrupting your current position.

Thanks.

I can read the online manual in Safari 16 on my newer MacBook Air, but not in Safari 15.6 on my MacBook Pro that runs Dorico (2018, OS 10.15 Catalina). It seems quite a stringent requirement.

That’s not the case for me, unfortunately… It shows an insecure connection for the Webhelp and I am not able to open it sadly.
I am using Safari 15.6.1

Works on Safari 17 (Sonoma), as far as I can see.

I recommend Vivaldi, Firefox, or MS Edge, in that order; as an alternative browser on macOS.

I remember an odd Safari behavior some time back that would prevent it loading pages whose addresses included “w.w.w.” Try this, @klafkid: Steinberg

I suspect it’s something to do with certificates, which, like the milk, seem to go off after a certain date.

Presumably, the version of Safari on older OSes doesn’t like something about the date on the website’s certificate; whereas new versions seem to be ok with it.
