Can't output sound to Yamaha MG10XU

Hey everyone,

I just installed Cubase Ai LE Elements 8 yesterday and it looks great! One problem though. Whilst I am able to record sound into Cubase using my Yamaha MG10XU mixer, I can’t hear anything when I play back the recording. The mixer is connected via USB and I have headphones plugged into the mixer. I do hear everything I play directly from the mixer, but I don’t hear any sounds from my computer. I’ve attached screenshots of my Device setupt and my VST Connections. My computer is running Windows 10, 64-bit. I hope somebody can help me.

Hi,

Make sure, the Monitor button (speaker) is enabled (orange), in the track, while recording, please. Once the recording is done, make sure the Monitor is disabled again.

Do you have the usb/line switch set to usb and channel 9/10 level turned up?

Wow I feel so stupid now. I’d completely forgotten about the usb/line switch and now it works perfectly. Thanks a million for responding!
