After importing a Sibelius XML, the Instruments names are incorrect, so I am trying to fix this. However, I am not able to rename them as would like to in Setup Mode. After renaming them, they reset again to the wrong name. I tried the option Edit Names and Rename, but the wrong name stays as it is in the score.

Any suggestions how to fix this?
In Setup mode, click Layout Options (on the Setup menu, or Cmd-Shift-L or Ctrl-Shift-L).
Staff labels category.
Untick “Show transposition in staff labels”.
Click apply. Close.
Note that you can “Save as default” for future scores, and that this page is Layout specific (though you can apply it to some or all of your layouts using the list of layouts on the left of the dialog).
Thanks, that did it! Still finding my way around, some things have to be set in different places.
