Can't see a shortcut to run Cubase 13 Artist after upgrading from Elements

Hi all. I wonder if someone can give me an answer to an issue I’m having. I’ve just upgraded from Elements 13 to Artist 13. Now I’m new to Macs so please forgive me if I’m missing some thing obvious, but I cannot see a way of running the application, I’ve entered my access code into the Download Assistant and selected Cubase Artist 13 and downloaded all of it’s components, but after the download I can only see a shortcut for Cubase 13 and nothing for Artist, this is in the default download location, Application folder and in the app launcher. When I click on the Cubase 13 shortcut, I get a error stating that I don’t have a license to run the application, which is. correct I suppose, as I don’t have a license to run the full fat version, but I can’t see a shortcut for the Artist version. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

There is no specific shortcut to the different releases of Cubase, your release depends simply on the license you have. The application binary is always the same, regardless of release.

What you need to do is start the Activation Manager, login to your Steinberg Account and then you will see the releases you have and can click on the Activate button next to it.

Thanks very much for your reply, but when I sign into the Activate manager, It says no Licenses Found. I changed my password earliar today but. not my username (email), so at a loss why I’m seeing this.

Just to add to the above, when I enter my Download Access code it says that it’s already being used by another user, but I only have on Steinberg account.

This code is a one-time code and can not be used again, so that is normal.

The password change doesn’t harm, as long as the mail id is the same as for your registration.

Have you checked your online profile? If not, login to your Steinberg account and check if you can see the licenses there in your profile. If there is no license stored you need to talk to Steinberg support.

Yeah just checked my online profile and only seeing Cubasis 2 and 3, purchases I made quite a while back. I have now contacted Support. Thanks very much for trying to help with this matter.
