Can't switch to Steinberg Licensing, Cubase 12

Hi. I’m trying to switch from e-licensing to Steinberg Licensing. I’ve followed the instructions from Steinberg, opened the Steinberg Download Assistent, entered Download Access Code,
but when I go from there to the list of my e-licensers the one I’ve been using for several years is greyed out. When I check the eLicenser Control Center the same license is active. I did a maintance, that didn’t change anything. I’ve been using Cubase 9 up till now and haven’t tried Cubase 12. I’ve installed OS 13 on my Macbook Pro 2014. What am I doing wrong/missing?

Hi,
what kind of eLicenser do you use (soft/USB)?

Could you post a screenshot of the eLicenser Control Center showing your Cubase license? Does the entry have an annotation in parentheses, e.g. about a grace period?

Hi. I use USB

Here’s what happens, hope you can use the screenshots?

Yesterday I could open the e-Licenser Control Center and see the USB-dongle active. Today it’s greyed out like the pdf no. 4.

Grace period: no, I haven’t seen anything about that.

Cubase 01.pdf (292.9 KB)
Cubase 02.pdf (378.8 KB)
Cubase 03.pdf (406.9 KB)
Cubase 04.pdf (413.8 KB)

Could you please add a screenshot of the eLicenser Control Center showing the Cubase license? Just directly open the eLCC, select the eLicenser containing the Cubase license, take a screenshot of the window, and hide your dongle IDs there.
Currently, I only see the data shown during the upgrade process. They’re lacking some information that might be relevant to your issue.

Will this do?
Cubase 05.pdf (264.6 KB)

Yes, thanks. According to the eLCC, you have a license of Cubase 11 that has already been updated to a newer release (probably Cubase 12 according to the previous screenshot of the Download Assistant). Since Cubase 11 was the last version that uses the eLicenser, your latest version should be shown in the Steinberg Activation Manager and you can activate it there.

YES! It works:-) Thanks a lot to both of you who helped me:-) Henrik
