Can't unlock Cubasis LE with Avatar EMK-25

I have successfully connected my EMK-25 to my iPhone 11, but the it won’t proceed on unlocking the app.

Cubasis LE for iOS runs in demo unless unlocked via a supported/bundled audio device.

We suggest first to make up your mind what you plan to do, before making the decisions what audio interface to purchase.

Avatar emp 16 is listed as acceptable. I connect by bluetooth and the software will not proceed any further.

Cubasis LE for iPhone/iPad comes bundled with a wide range of audio devices, which can be used to unlock the app from demo mode.

Please find the list of bundled audio devices, on our Cubasis LE website

Unfortunately the Avatar EMK-25 is not a Cubasis LE bundle device.

Hi there Lars,

As I stated I have the Avatar EMP 16. It is in the list of acceptable devices, (as is the EMK 25 I believe, I could be wrong) it did unlock the trial, and it did so only by physical connection. It does state in the software setup that connection by bluetooth is possible to unlock. This did not work. Possibly because the bt device is not EMP 16, but pad 01 or something like that.

Long story short, I am good to go, but you should fix your software to recognize the devices it states are acceptable devices.

Hello, I also have this issue. Cubasis LE is advertised as being included on the packaging of the AVATAR emk-25, and the device appears in the list of packable hardware that is shown inside of your app. I have a photograph. Please provide a fix. Thank you.

Hi Lars,

I don’t see my comment at all but if it matters it does work with hard connection. If Cubasis can recognize “midi pad” or whatever I said , it may work over bluetooth but I will let you make up your mind about that.

Thanks for the feedback. I see one of the comment questions about our devices can’t unlock via Bluetooth, the fact is we choice not to do this because our devices don’t have Bluetooth ID that could recognized by Cubasis via wireless, so our device can only unlock Cubasis via cable, I think we did mention this in the manual.

As for the EML-25 issue I see your replies under the comments saying Avatar EMK-25 is not a Cubasis LE bundle device, while EMK-25 and EMP-16 are in your supported hardware list, this user left comment in our Amazon website as well, but the comment shows it is not a verified purchase—means he didn’t buy from us, so he might be brought a OEM device so it can not unlock Cubase LE products, please help to add above information to your previous reply to avoid misunderstanding for future users, below picture of Amazon comments for your reference.

It was a verified purchase. The review submitted was done so on a different Amazon account. They’re using that as an excuse for why their packaging advertises your software when it does not.

Hi,
I’m experiencing the same issue with the MiCreator from Austrian Audio. When I connect it to my iPad, it doesn’t seem to work properly. I’ve been having trouble getting it to function as expected.

Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this?

Cubasis LE should be instantly unlocked from demo mode, once you’ve launched the app and connect your MiCreator device to the iPad.

Did you check the available tutorial provided by Austrian Audio, and is it of help to resolve the problem?

Thank you for your quick answer!
I use the MiCreator on a IPad with usb C from 2020. The Sound is working , so I think it is not a the problem. Yes I saw the video from Austrian, but it doesn’t help.
Do you have an Idea what could be the problem?
