Can't use VST Plugins in Cubase 5

I have placed all my VSTs in the same folder ie Cubase/VSTPlugins and while ezdrummer is working, none of the other ones are being recognized. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what can I do correct it?
Any help would be appreciated.

Try placing one of the VSTi’s .dll (a VSTi that does not work) into another VST plug-ins folder (I usually copy it 1st) The ONLY time I’ve had an issue of not seeing a VSTi in my instruments list, was when it was in a wrong folder, likely from during the VSTi’s installation. Experiment with one VSTi 1st. I believe Cubase has more than one folder for VSTi’s, and I don’t think you’re generally supposed to put 3rd party VSTi’s in the same folder with the Cubase’s included instruments, I think they’re different.

Make sure that your plugin path is set under Devices>Plug-in Information>VST 2.x Plug-in Path is set to point the folder they are in (see attached screenshot).
Also, I found that 64bit plugins do not work in my Cubase 5 even though I am running Windows 7 64bit OS.
