New Issue: Audio export of multiple flows does not work with Cantai. Cantai keeps using the first Flow Cantai sung text for every flow even though other instruments play correctly and the flow is specifically chose in the export options.

Am I missing something here? I do not see the connection of the links you provided with Cantai. Cantai is the culprit here, not audio export in general. Only Cantai’s sung lyrics are restarting at the beginning of Flow 1 for every export of every flow.
I think you can work around it for now by reordering the flows temporarily so that you are always just exporting the first one.

As I said, I believe it is related to that issue. Dorico has a problem with audio in a video file where when you do an audio export, the audio from the video file attched to flow 1 will be exported for every flow, not just flow 1.
But I’m not using any type of video file… I’m confused.
Right, I know you’re not. But it was always the case in Dorico that the only way you could sync up audio from another source and export it with the Dorico music was by including the audio in a video file, and then it would have that problem.
Now that we have Cantai, it is prerendering audio to a cache and this rendered audio in the cache is getting played back/synced up with the Dorico music. And, the same issue is happening. It is less likely to be coincidental, and more likely that you would have this problem with any way of playing back audio in sync with the score in Dorico (as at the moment there are only two things that can do that, the video playback engine and Cantai). But we will see what they come back with.
OK. I’ve entered a ticket with Richard. You’re about 10 paygrades above me understanding how the tech works in Dorico so I apologize if I’m a little slow.
At one point, I was fluid in the old computer languages at coding but that all went to … when object oriented programming entered the picture and I didn’t have the time to learn the “new” ways. Yes I programmed Assembly Language, Fortran, Cobol, Compiled Basic, etc.. back in the day. Unfortunately, we have gone from those dinosaurs of tech to AI in about 40 years which is amazingly fast. And I did not keep up! 
I think it could be amusing to create a poll in this forum to see how many members know the word Fortran & Cobol before reading your post 
Okay it’s OT, but I tinkered with Assembly, learned Basic & CoBOL, and taught myself Pascal as OOP was becoming a thing. After which, I became proficient at HTML, XML, DHTML, etc. But, then, I’m a dinosaur too!

Hey all, for what it is worth, I reported an issue with Cantai to Richard, where rendering only uses the Efficiency Cores of my processor, and the Performance Cores are more or less idling.
This is with 2.2.2 on Windows 11, maybe someone can verify?

returning to the performance issues raised, I finally bought the licensed version and managed to find one existing project which did render without any difficulty. And it’s not a small one to start with – just short of 30 minutes in three flows with often four part writing. Not only did the work render completely in a reasonable time (around 10 minutes, I would say) but there was no re-rendering on closing Dorico and then reopening the project. Just takes a few seconds to re-initialise. Audio export of the work was fast and seems to be fine. While actually rendering, the processor usage got up to around 50% which is more than my sample libraries in general but when not actually rendering is very low. The voices also seem a bit smoother and less breathy than in the beta release so it seems things are definitely going in the right direction – at least when I can work out or get an answer from support as to why most of my existing projects don’t open.
One small point - 2.2.2 was supposed to have fixed the issues with apostrophes – however the word 'till breaks the vocal line so either apostrophes at the beginning of the word don’t count or it’s not fixed yet. But that’s a fairly minor issue to me.
I think I heard that apostrophes at the start or end of a word still cause difficulties.

Sadly for me, Cantai - a complete waste of my time and money as it simply does not work at all. . . Machine is a workstation PC (AMD Ryzen 9 5900x 12-core processor), 32 G installed RAM, 12 G NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics, runs Windows 11 Pro (v. 25H2) and nobody said ahead of purchase that this will only run on some other type of machine?

You do not seem to say what facet of Cantai gives you trouble. Are you just venting?
The plug-in will not install. I’ve followed all instructions (inclusive of creating the proper playback template in Dorico Pro 6 as suggested. The plug-in just sits there glaring at me “Cannot reach the local Cantai server. Please start it and try again.” I am quite close to the move of removing it from my machine permanently and counting the whole thing as a loss. D

I would contact Robert deCosta directly at support@turingoperaworkshop.zendesk.com with your issue. He and his team have been fairly responsive. Just understand that they are in the midst of preparing to launch Cantai for Sibelius right now and, I would assume, have a beta run like they did for the Dorico launch.
This, I believe, is an uncommon issue but I’ve read most, not all, of what’s been posted about Cantai.
