I am scoring a piece for 3 guitars. Guitar one has a capo placed on the 3rd fret. I wish to have the notes on the staff placed relative to the capo. I have two problems: 1. When I check the “use fretted instrument transposition” it only shows in the guitar 1 part and not in the full score. 2. Playback does not play the notes 3 half steps higher.
“Use fretted instrument transposition” only works in transposed layouts, so you will need to turn on “Transposing layout” in the Full Score. Playback reflects the concert pitch not the transposed pitch.
Many thanks for the prompt reply, Richard. Merely activating the “transposing layout” fixed both the notation issue, and playback did produce the transposed pitch.
