CB 10.5 Installtion.

Hello
I have CB 10.5 Pro installed on my computer (Windows 7).
It works nicely with no issues until I came to know that I have only 10 sets of samples on the Loop & Sample media.
Basic set such as Drums do not show there.

I was recommended to uninstall the whole thing and do reinstall - which I did.
Download & Installation of 10.5.12 FULL Install went fine but I am facing the following:

  1. Upon CB start I get a message with long list of features which cannot be loaded or their licence has expired…
  2. Still my list of Loop & Samples is missing basic elements which are standard of 10.5 pro
  3. Even though it is new version of software it still “remember” my project history… how could it be…
  4. When playing a project is play it slower then before…

Any Idea

Hi and welcome,

First of all, Windows 7 is not supported system with Cubase 10.5.

  1. Missing licenses, follow these instructions.

  2. Missing content:
    I would recommend to reinstall Cubase. Make sure you:

  • Download the Full Installer.
  • Unpack the ZIP file and install from the unzipped folder.
  • Install from setup.exe.
  • Install as administrator.

  1. This information is stored in Cubase preferences folder: %appData% Steinberg/Cubase 10.5_64

  2. Maybe Sample Rate of your project doesn’t match the sample rate of your Audio Device.
