CB doesn't see my CD drive

Hi guys, please help!
CD Import work’s fine in Wavelab and Windows, but Cubase doesn’t connect to my Plextor 830 SA drive (usb). It’s the only drive in the machine.
Everything else works fine.
Any suggestions ?
