My CC121 does not work pressing antything on it.
When I click something in Cubase, ie Solo, the light comes up on the related button of the CC121
Cubase Ready Light is ON
Power Adapter Checked
USB 2 Checked
Used Midi-OX and C121 sends all as expectd. It is only in Cubase this problems is happening.
It was working fine until a recent update.
any ideas?
Hi,
If I remember correctly, this happened, if CC121 was charged from the computer, not via own charging adapter (which is required).
Thank you Martin, I checked that. I just found the reason, I had installed EUCON and hijacked everything messing up the CC121. I removed EUCON and its all back to normal. I guess it needs some research how to make them coexist.
I don’t think that’s the case Martin. The adapter is just used to power the motor for the fader. The rest of the CC121 will work just fine off USB power. I’ve had my CC121 since 2018.
Just an update for anyone who may have this, I isntalled today EuCon and alhtough I was expeting the same issues, it appreas it all works ok now. Not sure if removing EuCon from Cubase and PC, and installing again all helped to put things in order.
And yes, the adapter is solely to do with the fader, the rest of CC121 would work anyway for everything else. I was aware it was something in Cubase that was wrong as the CC121 was only getting midi messages from the DAW but not sending out, and also, I could see externally through Midi OX that CC121 was working 100% both ways.
Anyway, it was a standard issue Monday headache I guess.
I just experienced this exact issue after installing the Trial version of Spectral Layers 11 Trial version. It is a SB product so I hope the developers see this thread.
