HI
I’ve just bought the CC121
I’m using cubase pro 10.5 ( latest update) Mac OS Mojave
installed tools for CC121
CC121 is in the list of devices but I cannot add it to my list of remote devices
no communication what so ever with cubase
Hi and welcome on the forum,
The CC121 should be added automatically to the Remote Devices. Make sure, you charge CC121 with the extra charging cable, not the USB only, please.
what list are you talking about?
Hi,
Studio > Studio Setup > Remote Devices.
@chris_smets wrote that his CC121 was NOT on this list,
but
That’s why I asked what list he was talking about
Hi
When you’re in studio setup
You can add a device
Cc121 is listed there but when I click on it nothing happend.
When I turn on the device all the knobs and bits light up in different colours then to Fade out, don’t Know of that is normal… Maybe it’s the device itself that doesn’t function
TX for reply already
C
Yes, well… It should… But it does not

Hi,
Can you see CC121 as connected USB device (on the system level)?
No it isn’t
Thx
Hi,
If system doesn’t see it, Cubase can’t see it. Could you try different USB cable or different USB slot, please?
Finaly
I just changed USB port on the hub
works fine now, thanks for being there !!
Hi, Martin,
maybe you got solution for this one as well
I upgraded 10.5 (10.5.2) to 11. I use the same scarlet 18i20 , same settings but none of the audio inputs are coming through in Cubase 11 ( micro, guitar…), when I switch back to 10.5 there’s no problem what so ever…bizarre
Hi,
Make sure Cubase has enabled Mic in the System Preferences, please.
Open macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone. Enable Cubase here.
Thank You ever so much!!!
