Ceasura next to Fermata

I am trying to enter a ceasura right before a note (or rest) with a fermata, but dorico will not let me do that.
Is this a bug or feature ? Or maybe I’m doing something wrong ?

I have two examples where I need this to be entered

Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment with the way these notations are set up (caesuras and fermatas are the same kind of item internally, and we only allow one of those kinds of notations to appear at the same rhythmic position). We will have to think about how to allow these situations in future. For now, I would suggest perhaps adding the caesura as a Shift+X text item: choose the ‘Music text’ character style from the drop-down in the top right-hand corner of the popover, and then copy and paste the appropriate caesura from this page.

In some cases, you can achieve this by placing the caesura right before the beat (e.g a 16th-note before).

Thank you for clearifying the issue Daniel.

Anders, your workaround is the easiest and cleanest way to do it. Works like a charm. Thank You
