Change colour of midi notes to Track colour as per video example

Windows 10
Cubase Pro 11.041 Build 448

I have been searching online for info on how to do this before posting in here and on the youtube video at Timestamp 1:00 you can see the midi notes are coloured acording to the track colour (Orange), at Timestamp 1:10 the user then opens a different midi track at the midi notes are green.

This is very useful especially if you are merging two seperate midi tracks on top of each other so you can see the note from each midi track.

I have all my tracks colour coded according to my personal colour scheme and I have looked in Cubases preferences but can see no way of setting this.

How is he doing this please?

Many thanks.
Video Example

Hi,

The MIDI Notes couldn’t be coloured by the source track, but they can follow the MIDI Part in which they are living. Change the Event Color settings to the Part option in the Key Editor’s toolbar.

Thanks Martin.

I’ll give it a try.
