Change fingering font of Chord Diagram not working

I have created a document and have activated display chord diagrams at the top of the flow (hidden on the staves themselves). I have edited various elements of the third diagram in Engraving Options. However, I wish to change the font of the guitar fingerings inside the filled black circles. I have navigated to Library > Font Styles > Chord Diagram Fingering Font and made changes to the font font style and size, pressed okay and nothing happens. I have saved the document and reopened and it’s still the same. It can’t be that complicated surely? Any ideas? File attached.

Many thanks.

It works here if I change the Chord Diagram Fingering Font. Reboot the computer?

Thanks for your help. I have tried what you suggest and still cannot seem to make any changes.

I can change the font and style but not the size?

Hm, that’s strange. Did you try with a few different fonts to rule out that it’s a font issue?

Jesper

Yes, I tried Arial and Times. I want to reduce it a point size or two but nothing has any effect. Baffled

Maybe the size can’t go larger than that it fits inside the circle?

Jesper

Yes, that figures, but I am trying to reduce the font size

You’re right, I can’t either.

Jesper

I am assuming that as it has the option on the page it is something that one can do. Thanks for your help.

I guess that it automatically fills the circle.

Jesper

That’s what I am thinking, but did wonder why the option is available if that’s the case.

The size is only used if you have the fingerings set to display below the diagram, instead of within the dots - this setting in Layout Options:

Got it! Thank you.
