Change guitar range for 24 fret guitar

Can anybody point me in the right direction to extend the range for a 24 fret electric guitar? If I use the standard Electric Guitar instrument in the included library, I get a question mark if I try to enter tab above the 22nd fret on the high E string.

Go to Setup mode. In the Guitar drop down menu, select Edit Strings and Tuning. here you can set the number of frets.
